Welcome to the NSF funded ICE REU Program at NCSU Chemistry. The NCSU Chemistry Department invites rising sophomore-junior students from primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs), to engage in one of many possible independent research topics that combine experimental techniques and computational methods at our department in Raleigh, NC.

We are now accepting applications for Summer 2024!

Our REU activities Summer (2024) are in-person.

Please fill out the application form here and send your CV, a short applications essay and an unofficial transcript in a single PDF file to chemistryreu@ncsu.edu. Please label the subject of the e-mail message with your name. Also arrange for one letter of recommendation to be sent to chemistryreu@ncsu.edu. Upon acceptance to the program, you will be asked to provide us with a copy of the official transcript.
